Mixology is a cocktail recipe app provided by Nikhil B. This policy explains the information processed by the iOS and Android apps and their service providers.
Saved drinks, recently viewed drinks, notes, bar ingredients, shopping-list items, theme choices, and the bundled recipe catalog are stored locally on your device. Mixology does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, or profile picture.
Mixology uses Google AdMob to show ads and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and store applicable privacy choices. The iOS app explicitly requests non-personalized ads and does not request App Tracking Transparency permission. Google and its advertising partners may still process information such as IP address, device and app information, coarse location derived from IP, consent choices, and ad interactions to deliver, secure, measure, and limit ads. Ads are not requested until UMP reports that requests are permitted. Privacy choices can be revisited from Settings where required.
Mixology uses Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate app usage, such as screens viewed and when a recipe is viewed, saved, or removed. Analytics collection starts disabled and is enabled only after the app's consent gate permits collection. Advertising storage, ad user data, and ad personalization remain denied. Mixology also uses Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash reports and diagnostics such as app version, device model, operating-system version, crash time, and stack traces. This information is used to improve stability and is not sold by Mixology.
Recipe and ingredient images are loaded from TheCocktailDB content servers, which receive ordinary network information such as an IP address. The app may open external recipe-video or support links in your browser; those sites apply their own privacy policies.
Local app data remains until you remove it or uninstall the app. Retention of advertising, analytics, and crash data is controlled by the applicable Google service settings and policies. You can change available privacy choices from Mixology Settings or contact us with a privacy request.
Mixology is not directed to children. It contains alcoholic drink recipes and is intended for users who meet the applicable age requirements in their region.
We may update this policy as the app or its service providers change. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
